Terms for using MediaSlim
Last updated · August 2026
These terms govern your download, trial, purchase, and use of MediaSlim. They explain the product boundaries and purchase process.
About MediaSlim
MediaSlim is a downloadable macOS application published and supported under the jojotech brand. It compresses and converts image files on your Mac. Image processing happens locally; the product does not provide cloud storage or an online image-processing service.
When you purchase a license, Creem acts as the merchant of record. Creem handles checkout, payment processing, applicable transaction taxes, receipts, and approved refunds under Creem's Terms. jojotech handles product support and reviews refund requests. These product terms govern your use of the MediaSlim software.
Trial and purchase
MediaSlim provides a 14-day trial of compression and conversion so you can test compatibility and output quality before purchasing. Finder integration is a Pro feature that requires a paid license and is not included in the trial.
MediaSlim is sold as a one-time purchase, not a recurring subscription. The price, currency, any activation limit disclosed before purchase, and any specific entitlement shown on the product or Creem checkout page form part of your order.
License grant
A completed Creem order grants the purchaser a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use MediaSlim for personal or internal business purposes, subject to any activation limit disclosed before purchase.
You may not resell, sublicense, share, publish, or distribute your license key; distribute modified copies of MediaSlim; bypass license or trial controls; or use the software in violation of applicable law. Rights that cannot legally be restricted remain unaffected.
Downloads, updates, and support
The installer is distributed from the MediaSlim updates domain. Updates may change features, supported formats, compatibility, or system requirements. Any update entitlement explicitly shown at checkout is part of your order; no unlisted future feature or major version is promised.
Support is available through the email listed on the Support page. When reporting a problem, include your MediaSlim version, macOS version, Mac model, and steps to reproduce. Do not send payment card details.
Refunds
Refund requests are handled under the MediaSlim Refund Policy and applicable consumer law. Approved refunds are processed by Creem to the original payment method.
Warranty disclaimer and liability
MediaSlim is provided on an "as available" basis. Although the application is designed to preserve originals and write output separately, you remain responsible for keeping appropriate backups and checking output before deleting or replacing files.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, jojotech is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of MediaSlim. Nothing in these terms excludes statutory rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated when the product, purchase flow, or legal requirements change. The updated date appears at the top of this page. Material changes apply prospectively unless applicable law requires otherwise.
