How refunds work if MediaSlim is not the right fit
Last updated · August 2026
The 14-day compression and conversion trial lets you evaluate MediaSlim before purchasing (Finder integration is Pro-only). This policy covers billing errors and unresolved technical problems after purchase.
Before purchasing
Please use the 14-day compression and conversion trial to confirm that MediaSlim runs smoothly on your Mac, supports the formats you need, and produces suitable output (Finder integration is not included in the trial). The current system requirements are macOS 13 or later on an Apple silicon Mac.
Request window
Refund requests must be submitted within 14 calendar days of purchase. Submitting a request does not guarantee approval except where required by law. Email support from the address used at checkout and include your Creem order ID when available. Never send payment card details.
Eligible requests include accidental duplicate purchases, incorrect charges, or confirmed technical issues that prevent normal use and cannot be resolved through reasonable troubleshooting.
Change-of-mind requests
Because a compression and conversion trial is available before purchase, change-of-mind requests are generally not eligible for a refund where permitted by law. This does not limit any mandatory consumer rights, including statutory remedies if the software is materially defective or not as described.
Processing the refund
Creem is the merchant of record and processes approved refunds back to your original payment method. Banks and payment providers typically take 5–10 business days to process and post the refund to your account. Creem may also issue a refund when required by law, its terms, or payment network rules.
Contact before a dispute
If you do not recognize a charge or encounter any purchase issue, please contact support first. Providing your checkout email and order ID usually allows us to resolve the issue much faster than a bank dispute.
